NEW CLASS FLOW YOGA WITH ANGELIKA COMMENCING 5TH OCTOBER THURSDAYS 10.15 - 11.30AM

Join Angelika for her new Flow Yoga class every Thursday from 5th October 10.15am- 11.30am
 
Angelika will guide you through a class to get your body and mind prepared for the day, leaving you focused and prepared for whatever the it may bring.
 
All level, all welcome.  Find your flow!
 
Flow is a combination of accessible poses, fluid movement and breath. Over the course of 75 minutes you will move through a series of poses that gently engage and open all the major muscle groups. Spinal integrity is a key area of emphasis in this class. The 6 movements of the spine – left and right side bending and twisting, forward flexion and extension – are incorporated into every Flow, contributing to spinal health, improved posture and overall well-being.

Flow is a Vinyasa Yoga inspired class. Moving your body to the rhythm of your breath promotes circulation. The increase in fresh, oxygenated blood delivered to your muscles, organs and bones energizes the entire body.

Flow is an all levels class and the perfect place to begin a yoga practice. Experienced students taking flow always have the option to take on more advanced posture variations.

 
 
About Anglika 
 
My background is in dance/musical theatre and as a Fitness instructor with Reebok company.
 
In the beginning I turned to Yoga as a hobby and as an additional exercise but found this also to be my path to recovery, from injuries that had naturally resulted from my training regime over the years.
 
A career change, then gave me new opportunities and I decided to focus on my growing passion and appreciation for Yoga.  I undertook a Yoga Foundation Course with the Mayura Yoga Academy, and also decided to enroll on their 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, which I graduated from in April 2016.  I have also continued on with further training as Fitness instructor over this period and now enjoy teaching and sharing yoga with the Students at the Mayura Yoga Studio.
 
My aim is to guide others so they too can experience the many amazing benefits of yoga for the body, mind and soul.
